Albendazole 10% Suspension
A broad-spectrum anthelmintic for the treatment and control of internal parasites in cattle.
Composition:
Each ml contains Albendazole 100 mg.
Indications
For the treatment and control of the following types of internal parasites in cattle:
- Gastrointestinal Roundworms: (adult and 4th stage larvae) Ostertagia, Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, and Nematodirus.
- Lungworms: (adult and larval stages) Dictyocaulus viviparus.
- Tapeworms: (head and segments) Moniezia spp.
- Adult Liver Flukes: Fasciola hepatica.
Dosage and Administration
For oral administration only. Shake well before use.
Cattle (for Roundworms & Tapeworms): 7.5 mg Albendazole per kg body weight. (Equivalent to 7.5 ml per 100 kg).
Cattle (for Liver Flukes): 10 mg Albendazole per kg body weight. (Equivalent to 10 ml per 100 kg).
Withdrawal Period
- Cattle (for meat): 14 days.
- Cattle (for milk): 60 hours.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, and dark place, below 30°C. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
