Marek's Disease Vaccine

A live virus vaccine for the active immunization of healthy one-day-old chicks against Marek's Disease.

Composition:

Live, cell-associated Herpesvirus of Turkeys (HVT), FC-126 strain.

Indications

For the prevention of Marek's Disease in chickens. The vaccine helps in reducing mortality and tumor formation caused by the Marek's disease virus.

Dosage and Administration

The vaccine is administered to one-day-old chicks by subcutaneous (SC) injection in the back of the neck.

Dosage: 0.2 ml per chick.

It is essential to use the entire contents of the vial once opened. The vaccine must be carefully handled and administered according to the instructions to ensure its efficacy.

Withdrawal Period

Zero (0) days.

Storage

Store and transport in liquid nitrogen (-196°C). The diluent should be stored at room temperature (15-25°C).
