Oxacin

A broad-spectrum antibiotic injection for the treatment of bacterial infections in a wide range of animal species.

Composition

Each ml contains:

  • Oxytetracycline: 100 mg

Indications

Oxacin is effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is indicated for the treatment of respiratory, gastrointestinal, and urogenital tract infections, as well as other bacterial diseases in cattle, sheep, goats, and swine.

Administration and Withdrawal Periods

Intramuscular Use:

  • Cattle: Meat and offal - 35 days (24h or prolonged regimen), Milk - 72 hours (24h regimen)
  • Sheep: Meat and offal - 53 days (24h regimen) or 18 days (prolonged regimen), Milk - 120 hours (24h regimen)
  • Horse: Meat and offal - 6 months (24h regimen)
  • Pig: Meat and offal - 14 days (24h regimen) or 13 days (prolonged regimen)

Intravenous Use:

  • Cattle: Meat and offal - 35 days, Milk - 72 hours
  • Sheep: Meat and offal - 53 days, Milk - 120 hours
  • Horse: Meat and offal - 6 months
  • Pig: Meat and offal - 14 days

Subcutaneous Use:

Suitable for Dogs and Cats.
